- BUILD NOTES::
- When you first enter the
world, you enter a "Training Hall" which may be very crowded. Soon
we will have many copies of this hall to fix this. But in the
meantime you will get poor performance due to the crowds. We advise
that you stop to pick up only ONE of the weapons generated there and
move on. You will find much better weapons of every sort in the
world outside the Hall. Read all the Teaching Stones, but you can
safely skip the "Orb quest" and just run out through the portal at
the end. Also, don't bother looking for the Ancestor Head; it's not
there!
- To keep the servers stable, we have imposed a maximum population
limit on game servers. We will still admit between 1000 and 2000
players to be online at once, but demands is very high so in the
afternoons and evenings you may find that the server is "full."
Please try to play at off-peak times. We sympathize that it is
frustrating, but there is no use in letting in so many people that
the performance becomes very poor.
- The Handbook has been updated. Please be sure to downloadand read
the updated information contained therein.
-The latest update includes several fixes. The most notable being
our ability to distribute the server load across the servers in a
more balanced way. As a result We will be experimenting with
increasing the number of people that will be allowed in game at the
same time.
-We advise for now that you play AC2 in windowed mode. This will
better allow you to deal with pop-up error dialog boxes you may
encounter. In fullscreen, some of these dialogs can "pop under" the
screen, making them difficult to dismiss. You know this happens when
your cursor turns plain white in the game. Go into windowed mode by
pressing ALT-Enter. You may need to do this twice.
