Search quests introduce players to the Ringways, portal circuits in
different regions of Dereth. To begin the Lost Wish Obelisk Search quest,
use the Ancestor at 43.8N, 11.2E.

Ancestor
This monument stands as a testament to our ancestors, who dwelt
in these lands in ages past. Use this to receive a quest. |
When you double click on the
Ancestor, you'll see the quest key glow and your quest tab will be
updated to Underway (see right). You'll also receive a tell.
"Those who went before us created
the circular Ringways to speed their travel in every region. The
first settlers built jeweled obelisks to guide newcomers to
Dereth. Use the Ringway portals to touch them in order, and the
spirits of old will reward you."

Take the Ringway portal as instructed
at 44.2N, 11.3E to the NW Outpost and double click on the Ruby Obelisk
at 52.8N, 10.0E. This is the first Obelisk in the region's Obelisk Search quest.

Each time you use one of the
Obelisks, you'll receive a tell that your quest journal has been
updated. Each update will give the coordinates of the next portal in
the Ringway and the color of the Obelisk to use next.
Lost Wish: pass through the Ringway
portal at 53.1N, 9.9E and use the sapphire obelisk on the other side.
(Sapphire Obelisk 53.3N, 18.9E)
Lost Wish: pass throuhg the Ringway
portal at 53.5N, 19.0E and use the emerald obelisk on the other side. (Emerald Obelisk
47.2N, 21.0E)
Lost Wish: pass through the Ringway
portal at 47.3N, 21.4E and use the topaz obelisk on the other side. (Topaz Obelisk 44.2N,
11.2E)
Lost Wish: using your knowledge of the Ringways,
the compass and the map travel to the Southeast region, find the
amethyst obelisk at 49.4N, 22.3E, and use it to receive a glyph for
entering the nearby vault dungeon.
After using the Topaz Obelisk, you'll
circle through the Ringway again, taking the portal at 44.2N, 11.3E to
the NW Outpost, then the portal at 53.1N, 9.9E to the NE Outpost,
and finally the portal at 53.5N, 18.9E to the SE Outpost. The
Amethyst Obelisk is just a short run away at 49.4N, 22.3E. You'll
encounter numerous
Tanglefoot Vermin (Level 6) along the way. Using
the Amethyst Obelisk completes your quest. You'll receive 3 glyphs as
a reward and Obelisk Ward, a spell which boosts your
armor for the next 3 hours.

You'll also receive 80 experience
points and 100 points
towards your quest rating. The glyphs can be used to complete the Arwic,
Esper and Lost Wish Vault quests (coming soon). |

in this area, and those like it, have been imbued with
protective powers. Use all of them in this region for a
boost to your natural armor and a special reward.
